I like seeing pics of these watches out in the wild...makes them seem more real than review pics!

Very nice. Just saw this yesterday! You move quickly! Or is yours an earlier model?
The new 1961 homage to the original, came in just 11 days ago from Hodinkee.

Mine was last shipment of the first batch of LE’s.

Spent quite a while trying to work out how you tell the time with this before realising you were posting it’s back(side).

Last day in the mountains. Back to flat Florida tomorrow. After a 12 hour drive of course.

As I rarely wear the same watch for an entire day, much less for multiple days, I don’t have a daily wearer. This is probably the closest. Wore it all weekend.

how is the watch for you?
I love the (re)design and it seems spot on with the size. What‘s the to lug?

I

I'm intrigued - what is this, please? Thanks!
This is a watch from Thailand. Those are Thai numbers with the seal of the Kingdom under the 12 position. The watch was issued under the reign of the previous King (he passed away 4 years ago).

Thank you - I feel more educated now. So the rotor-like shape on the 9 o'clock section of the dial is a decoration, and static, right? Thanks!

That's correct. It's interesting that the leather band is embossed with "Long Live the King."
