Very handsome watch and paired nicely with the mesh bracelet...I had never considered that...nor have I ever seen an Aquamedico with a black dial...really a very nice watch. Now I have to add finding a mesh bracelet to my “ to do list” today. Cheers!
Thanks for the kind words. Its going to the watchmaker today (loose crown, service and clean).
I'm glad to see these are still in people's drawers...and hopefully on their wrists!
Mine was my dad's watch and I'm guessing its 1940 something but I don't really know how or where he acquired it.
I'd tell you where I got the shark mesh bracelet but that would spoil the thrill of the chase!
Cheers back atcha!

Ok another shot of my trusty Vostok as I tackle the days issue. I can’t get the broken joints out so I will randomly try different power tools find something that will work

As always a beautiful head, may I ask where the NATO is from? I have plenty that initially look good but fray at the end and don’t last unless Omega original and 4 down including a black Omega nylon I’m not keen to purchase another Omega in black..

Rolex GMT Master II. Pepsi. I slapped on a cheap Ali-x replacement Jubilee bracelet. More comfy during the hot summer months.

It is actually a Hamilton that my wife ordered it along with the watch, I love the blue inner which you will occasionally catch the edge of when wearing.

You may make out the protector on the end so no fraying 👍

How do you like the bellmatic? Is getting it serviced a problem. I was just speaking to someone about picking one up I am interested in them.
Hi Walrus, thanks for the interest. if you get one they are a solid watch and quite addictive as there are so many variations.
I've got 3 of these Bellmatics and have never gotten around to servicing them as although " vintage" I use them nearly every day, find them very accurate and start to tick strong the moment I pick them up.
Being low level watches, I've never paid more than £90, and compared to some of the beauties I see on here, I think I've either been lucky or they are of a solid build.
Being based in the UK , I think there are a couple of people who could service them and if any broke I would certainly pay to get them fixed as they have a certain charm and as our American cousins would say " a lot of bang for your buck"!

Trying a new navy + red rubber strap on the Turtle. Really like the way the red undersurface plays peekaboo in sunlight!

If I get a stray arm hair that seems to really mess up a watch photo, I'll sometimes wipe it away in Photoshop. But in your case @Mad Dog , there is no software powerful enough for the job 😀
