I catch myself doing things like this. Just a simple home repair then I realize I should probably switch to a vostok or something just in case
This Benrus automatic was part of a seven watch auction lot I won for $46. For $6.57 it makes for good indoors company on this very rainy day.
Thanks! I believe it to be an Oris 7375 (engraved with that number on the back plate). I've seen a few white dial variations and fewer, if any (other than this very example) black/steel dial and case models pop up on the web. I see that there's a two-tone black/gilt dial with gold/steel case for sale in Europe for under 100 euros. PM if you'd like the link.
Ok watch change made for days next repair. I just need to line up the thing so I can put thing thing in and tighten it up so that when the thing engages it catches the thing and everything will work perfectly. My trusty Vostok should help me time the job including the time I’m wasting writing this. Wife seems grumpy today seems like a good day to fix things and stay out of her way. This is probably a 20 minute job as I need to put all the things back on once I get the thing repaired but I may stretch it out to an hour or two.
I don't know what model that is as I am not up on the modern stuff but I love it. The case and lug style, non-date and bracelet all work perfectly.
Theme for this weekends extremely hot weather over here. Sitting on the veranda sipping beer, listening to banjo and watching the farmer harvest the oat field.
Thanks, it’s the Seamaster 300 master co-axial, in titanium - a UK AD were offering discounts online that were too good to pass up so I bit!
‘Official Standard’, the Ball ‘NightTrain’. This was for me, the ultimate tritium-dialed watch back in the days before vintage became my obsession:
I gotta stop wearing blue....or be more daring and wear any old color dial and strap with my attire. What is a fashionista to do?
