Wearing my Angelus Chronodato today. It took a long time, but I finally hunted down a 45-minute counter hand. She's all fixed up / complete now.

It's "In the garden" this morning with "Evil Snow White".

Spectacular watch. Congrats.
No garden time here today - it's one of those stormy, hide from the elements days here.

An acquaintance has one like yours.

1957, if memory serves correct. Want to say it's an early Air King, but I'm not well informed when it comes to Rolex.

He's the original owner, bought it while in the Armed Service during a tour of duty in Japan.

'41 MI 2214 . . .

. . . back from my watchmaker fitted with a mainspring that delivers impeccable timing. The first mainspring installed had it running intolerably fast. Long turn-around, but the results are worth the wait.

Image is from last year; hope to get a fresh pic up tomorrow.

Picture of my Laco Type B pilot watch in front of a donkey statue.

The Burro stands outside my local Mexican restaurant where I picked up food "to go" tonight.
.

And, yes, the Burro is wearing a face mask for virus protection. 😀

Been with this guy lately. Ref. 96 retailed by Walser Wald in the late 30s.
