Surprise early birthday gift this afternoon from the love of my life. I actually owned one of these pieces a while back and sold it on to help fund another purchase. My good lady tells me she remembers me mentioning once that I wished I had held on to it, what a girl 🥰

Two watches arrived yesterday - this Orient Mako and a Seiko Samurai. I ordered this last week as a little gift to myself as I had no divers or blue dials. Then I saw the Seiko on eBay and snapped it up, so now I have two blue dialled divers. Wearing this for the first time today. It's nice looking, I love the deep blue colour, but I think I prefer the Seiko so I'm leaving the protection on this and it will probably go back in its box quietly. I won't bother sending it back, it was cheap and maybe one day I'll find a use for it.
