One of two watches I wore on various (ahem) “public relations” tours of various locales in the Middle East on the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, and Gulf of Aden. The original strap was replaced when I transferred to civilian status because, frankly, it literally stunk. The watch head has been faithful and nearly indestructible, although the crystal is scratched.

One year only, 1969, Bulova Skystar....the original sky blue world time bezel has faded to grey and is barely legible now. If anyone runs across a NOS bezel/insert give me a shout.
