I don't know why the pictures loaded like this. Click on attachments, too. Don't know why there is a double post, either.

Seamaster 166.002
too bad, my watchmaker exchanged the tritium of the hands for Superluminova
No worries about that - it’s a lovely watch and looks great.

I'm wearing my Laco Pilot Watch today.
Not a very expensive watch, but I like its distinctive look.
And it goes well with casual clothes.
I bought it new over 10 years ago but not sure what model it is.

Waltham Wednesday,
Indeed! However, yours is much nicer. Mine comes after the start of the decline of a great American watch company.

Beautiful. Is this a reference 75090 (the 36mm version)?
Thank you , it’s the 79090 & it’s 40mm . Definitely one of my favourites.

Way, Way past the prime, The Waltham Company that was around for Mad Dog's PW, was TopNotch.

Another "Waltham" Company sold rebranded Swiss/HK watches starting in the 1950's. Some were very good but all imported.

I thought the Waltham Watch Company made it through the late 40s, and were one of the companies that made A-11 and Ord. Dept. Watches during WW2. Are sure you are not thinking of Hampden that was sold to Russia?

Yes, I edited my post, thank you.......both Ball and Waltham bit the dirt in the mid-50's, Hamilton was crippled by their venture into Electric watches ( Bulova Accutron was very reliable and just buried them) and finally bit the dirt circa 1969.
