This one has appeared here before. This one came to me in a brutalized gold filled case which was beyond hope, and with an equally horrible dial. But the movement (surprisingly) was in excellent shape. I went to my stash and found the steel case you see, as well as the dial. What is different this time is an Omega sport bracelet (also in my stash) which was shown recently on my Omega calibre 355, Date at 6. I put it on this Omega bumper yesterday, but the bracelet was far too tight. What to do? Locate a replacement link. Ya right! Where? So I did something today I have never done before. I made a buckle extender out of anther steel bracelet. This was a quickie job, so it might have been neater. I have never found a supplier that could supply a buckle extender that could achieve what this one does. The arrow points at the extender. It works so well, I may make another one sometime, but fuss with it more than I did with this one.

Speaking of the 70's - BAAZ was a small design shop here in New Zealand that assembled (amongst others) skin diver watches from Swiss parts. I haven't had the caseback open to see what the movement is but was a NOS find and with the crazy maroon dial colour I couldn't that resist...
