Congratulations that is a long time pounding the roads.
Are you training to get fitter just to get fitter, or planning on completing a marathon in the near future?
Either way impressive and keep up the good work.
Thanks! This is the 9th weekend in a row that I’ve done at least a half marathon. So, I’m slowly trying to work my way up to a full marathon.

Training for a Marathon? I will probably do a half marathon this summer. Partly inspired by you, but also because I have nothing else to do.
Yes, I’m starting late in life @ 51. I’ve always have done 5K’s and 10K’s. I’m run at least half marathons the last 9 weekends in a row. Now, I’m aiming for a full marathon. You, I mean, WE can do it!

I have done a half marathon before. I did 8.5 recently, but it was really hilly (1500ft of elevation gain). So I am pretty confident I can do a half this summer. K am also contemplating a 25k for my 25 year High School graduation anniversary. I did a 20k for 20 years.

With all of the hand washing this is the first time I’ve worn a watch in a very long time. At least I have the full equipment.

Who was that masked woman?

It's OmegaForums fault.

The alternate 505.

This was an early (1999) Ebay purchase from a Paraguayan seller and was a "deal" at the time. Serviced, I wore it happily for several years, blithely ignorant of the fact of redials. Later I came to suspect. Shrugged and continued to wear it: to the office, on our travels, designating it most regular daily wearer.

Then I joined OmegaForums. Since that time it's mostly hidden in shame from the camera and I don't wear it so often. Shame as it's a good accurate Constellation. Still, I had it serviced again more recently.

Don't really know what to do with it. Have considered redialing the redial to something that closer resembles an original, but haven't gotten around to it.

OK @Mad Dog ...it took 2 months of lockdown for me to find where these were stashed. All 3 of my early 80's Mattel electronics games!

The Racing has in intermittent connection in it somewhere I've gotta find and fix. Had it running long enough last night to score a 28 which I think was the highest possible without messing with the pot like you did. It was your 26 that was the kick in the pants I needed to find these!

The soccer works like new. Must've been a gift or an opportunistic purchase because I wasn't particularly into soccer. Fun game though.

But by far my favorite, as you can tell by the wear around the buttons, was baseball. Hours of 80s TV couch time were spent passing it back and forth with my brother. Hitting a home run was always followed by swinging it wildly in the air because the tune it plays sounds better with the Doppler effect moving it around causes! (yes I became an engineer..😁)

Going with the 105.012-65 today...which in the 80's was sitting one room away in my Dad's sock drawer...YaY!
Dude...this is fantabulous to see...I’m glad you found your Mattel Electronics machines and have been dorking with them! 👍

Also...from what I’ve observed over the past 40+ years regarding my Mattel Electronics Auto Race machine...26 is the fastest time I’ve ever been able to achieve...both BEFORE adjusting the pot as well as AFTER adjusting the pot [clockwise to the stop] recently. My intended goal regarding adjusting the pot [clockwise to the stop] was to achieve faster than a 26. I was only able to achieve the same 26 following adjusting the pot...the speed progression of the brighter blip “up” the screen did NOT change...but the speed progression of the dimmer traffic blips “down” the screen significantly increased [therefore increasing difficulty] and the audio speed increased. Also worth noting is that most of the time if I have 0 crashes over the course of the 4 laps [in 4th gear the entire time], I’ll get a 27 or 28...rarely will I achieve a 26. I wonder if changing lanes a ton slows down the progression of the brighter blip “up” the screen?

Anyway...how many bytes does that thing have? Like 512 bytes or something?

Okay, to some of us on OF it’s an anomaly but, to the other 99.99% of watch wearers it’s not only a nice looking watch, it’s a nice looking Omega watch!

Wear the socks off it 😎

Dang it, @Lou P! 😡

I just spent the last 1.5 hours trying to get a 26 on my Mattel Electronics Auto Race...no joy...I was able to get several 27s and 28s...but no 26s. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry about this. Last time I got a 26 was on 17MAY20 after I set the POT back to the factory setting. The reason I set the POT back to the factory setting was that my pilot buddy from American Airlines was complaining that it wasn’t fair that he had to compete on the fast setting with minimal practice on the slower factory setting...so he requested that I return it to the slower factory setting.

Anyway...pic below of the first out of several 27s I achieved tonight...and for the record, I’m wearing my mechanical bike computer from earlier in the day...

Raining today, so this it is. Sent a note to Sinn customer service about the bezel and how to obtain one, around 10 days ago with no response as yet. Guess we need to be patient with the dreaded COVID still interrupting things.
