Two watches this week. Total of two jewels. I bought both for their BFG 866 movements/parts but once they were running and cleaned up, I just couldn’t do it. They’ll never have any value, but the older I get, the less that matters. They’re watches. If a railroad conductor relied on this watch for his job, the train would NEVER be on time.
No church today due to lockdown...but I’m going to put on my church clothes anyway...and haul around my Elgin railroad church watches...Veritas 376 from 1915 and B.W.R. 494 from 1933 respectively...
