Change of plans: Turns out the river is up so much from last week's rain that the authorities have closed it for boating. Will go biking with Mrs Lou P instead. Still glad I put the boat in last week-end. Almost feels like summer just seeing it out there. YaY!
Ford vs Ferrari on a budget, or poor man's Hueur. Not a name you would recognize, but it is one of my favorite watches just the same. Everything I can find written online, about the brand, is positive. Supposedly, the quality of their cases was top notch. Looks like I did my 2 mile walk this morning in 30 mins and a half second. Stay healthy, everyone.
Not really wearing any of these I just got in. They were ultra budget watches, not running and with various issues. Three are running now, but the one I really wanted to keep has a broken staff. It’s the super clunky Eastman (apparently a venture without Mr Kodak) with THREE rotating bezels. That's right SUPER DELUXE SEAWATCH. It’s a one jewel, but if anyone recognizes the movement, I’m hoping to either find a staff and re staff it or find a donor movement. Any help is appreciated. The Dorset has a nice movement. They must have been upper end catalog watches.
