Solidarity at Home: Day 033

...and its truly unique case back.

As I wear this watch today I'm thinking of the tragedy and heroism that we've witnessed in Italy over the course of the pandemic.

This watch will always have a special meaning to me, beyond the present circumstances. It celebrates the 60th anniversary of Omega's adoption of the Hippocampus as the symbol for its professional line of watches; the original inspiration came from the Hippocampus ornaments seen on many of Venice's gondolas. And, I was in Italy at the time of the anniversary and for my 60th birthday.


Our heart goes out to everyone who has lost a loved one, friend or colleague, or is suffering physically or financially in this pandemic.

Drool material!...
