Well something as simple as going to post on WRUW turned into something rather more substantial and I didn't even get to post the original intended post.
Last Friday I had some time to kill and did a little reorganising in the man cave.
    Afore mentioned reorganising:
    Repurposing currently unused fish tank.

    Watch worn during the process:

However when I went to post and scrutinising the pics, the state of the wallpaper filled me with embarrassment.

After fours days of labour, no more embarrassment and the man cave is once again my calm zone:)

    The celebratory watch:

and beverage of choice, crisp white wine:)

My first post in this nice forum!

    Today’s beauty:
(I am not typically a fan of NATOs but the 300 1957 is just about perfect with the Bond-NATO!)

Welcome mate. Looks good on you. NATOs are horrendous on me unfortunately.

They usually are on me too including the brown one that came with the watch, this is the single watch/NATO combination that works

“Calm before the storm”, indeed. Gotta love those “on the toilet” shots!

It’s Thursday Friday, as my wife would say. Short weeks always feel like the longest weeks for some reason.

I can’t help but think it looks remarkably similar to this... probably no coincidence

For anyone that's advanced a no-quick-set-date when the watch's date is a few days ahead, you quickly learn to adjust rotation to wear/set when it's a few days before the actual date. (or ignore altogether)

Such was the case for me with this one today. Watch had stopped at on the 4th, fairly painless advance to 9...YaY!
