Difficult to reconcile such a gorgeous day with what is happening around the globe. Being a shameless materialist, I brighten my spirits with my recent bday haul. Stay healthy, watch brethren. (Just 2 watches, not 6. Different light)
Insanely rare Ollech & Wajs Precision Sportsman’s Chrono-Sailer w/Tidal Bezel. While the Precision Diver was marketed mainly towards GI’s during Vietnam, O&A sold these Sportsman’s with 4 interchangeable bezel inserts (Tidal, Diving, Yachting & International) to the civilian population during the same time. Rarely have I seen any of these bezels except the diver.
Staying with the theme of ol' familiar vintage watches I've worn for years. Some Longines vintage 14kt gold. Have you ever tried to capture a decent image of a watch while standing in a spirea bush on a breezy day?
the gym is closed for obvious reasons these days and now I find myself hiking the trails on a nearby forest reservation, brought my walking stick and the SM 300 on a ~14 km hike along the Red Fox route — only the sounds of wild birds and one sight of a white tail deer on this pass, pretty socially isolated around here when finished, I rewarded myself with a nice beer...
Cold gray day here in Colorado. Wearing my SKX today as it just seems to suit the mood & weather. Glad to have the WRUW thread for a bit of positive vibes. Stay healthy all.
