I'll give you $400 for it! 馃榿

That's a great restoration and one you should be proud of saving.

My understanding is the late, great Mr. Maddox was no big fan of the 7750; however, he was a huge fan of this specific model of Gallet. So much that he had not one, but two. I can't be that wrong for liking this watch that much:

For some reason the late afternoon sunlight really accentuates the patina along the bottom edge of the dial. It's really not that noticeable in real life.

I used to have a Viggen just like this one:

Fun car... except that the safety-minded, killjoy Swedish engineers limited the torque in 1st and 2nd gear via computer chip, so the lively turbo-4 engine couldn't be exploited for jackrabbit starts and exhilarating torque-steering. If they'd made these things a little more powerful and a little less safe, they might still have a company.

The Saab Convertible....Mmmmm......Terrific in straight lines ( USA).........Manic, possibly lethal, 'body shake' in fast, tight corners, ( Europe ).....but a real 'Architects, & Designers Car'

That's how I remember it. Also lethal in a hot climate, as the triple-blackness of it turned it into a Dutch oven in the sun. Not at all bad in northern winters, though.
