Start of the third week working from home due to the lockdown. On the positive side, working from home with less interruptions, provides the opportunity to post some WRUW pictures more often. Have a great week everyone!
As it's a slow day, I'm arguing with HR why those of us being made redundant immanently cannot be furloughed for 3 months first. You know, just for the lolz.
The shape of things to come? New leaves on the fig trees. Hoping this takes the shape of a 60-70 lbs crop of fruit. A cloudy Texas morning with a forecast of rain. Wearing one of the very favorites in the watch menagerie here. It's the same age as I am, but runs better.
Seiko diver on my ruck (50 lb pack/vest) in the park today. The park was closed yesterday due to flooding, and the trails and roads in some places showed signs with settled mud and sand being cleared by road crews. The second picture is of the river, still significantly higher that it is on a regular day.
Best of luck , I think even more challenging times are ahead of us yet though . We are looking to let go all contractors and move direct employees onto other duties .
Trying my best to work from home, while simultaneously parenting and (hopefully) providing some level of homeschooling. Wearing the PO because I’m clearly in over my head.
