Decided to try an elasticated French troops strap on my Longines Conquest beater; it's a nice change to the bracelet, very comfortable. This is a cheap $4 Chinese strap , just to try out. It's decent quality and a good match to the dial, but longer term i'd like to find something else which might prove more secure over many years..
In splendid isolation in SC. This is one of the best beaches in the world. Empty. Apart from my little girl. Only got Speedy here so photo variation limited...avoiding return to NY for as long as possible.
Received this back from Citizen today. After 21 years of daily wear, I decided to replace some parts as it's become difficult to read at a glance under water. New crystal, seals, hands and crown. Pressure tested and ready to go. Treated myself to a new strap aswell! Without a shadow of a doubt this is the most reliable watch I have owned. Just keeps ticking along..
BB58 on Erikas MN strap. Have a green one with red stripe also. Really comfortable, and looks great IMO
I guess I like honey patina and blued seconds hands... ...So today, another one: 1944 ref. 2179, cal.30T2SC. #fabsuisse!
