Very nice. I am a mostly a round watch guy, but the square/rectangular is drawing my attention. Being born in 1951 it seems a LOT of the watches from that period were not round. Some are pretty cool.

Plenty around to choose from, from the tanks with the fantastic T17 to this one with cal 342. But stick to the 30’s through 50’s, the later ones don’t have the charm.

Thank you for the advice. I’ll check them out. Though after the last purchase I told myself, “No more watches.” Right!

More accurate version below.

And watch change for late tv viewing.
OK, dude...I don’t mind your “more accurate version”...but at least get the text centered in the documentation bubbles. Drives me bonkers. Fixed it...see below. 😁

NOTE #1: The “(Fell asleep sitting up from jet lag.)” text in the yellow documentation bubble is not accurate...helo drivers don’t cross several time zones due to the fact that helos don’t have the range and/or the speed to do so, therefore, that whole “jet lag” thing is not applicable.

NOTE #2: I’m not CDO.

@pseikotick...here’s another example of centered text...this time in talk bubbles. This is the kind of centered text that YOU need to achieve. The example below is a pic [which I modified with text centered in the talk bubbles] that I recently posted at a Naval Aviation forum which I frequent. 👍

Vintage 67 myself 👍. And this mornings choice on this beautiful Sunday morning, it’s Mothers day here in the UK , so happy mother’s day Mum I love you ( even though she won’t see this ) .Mum & Dad are self isolating so won’t see her or Dad for quite a while , but checking on them daily . They are more concerned that we’re all ok & telling us to stay safe in these unknown times .

I'm only wanting to wear one watch. The rest are looking rather sad so I'm refusing to socially isolate them. This is the culprit though.

Since here in Italy we need to stay at home, I don’t know which one to wear for my family Appetizer in the veranda.

My wife gave me this for my birthday today, and I am very excited to add it to my collection. It is my first Hamilton, I loved the Interstellar movie, and it’s nice to have such a big watch on my wrist. I’ve been wearing mostly 36 - 39mm recently, and it’s nice to know a big watch like this feels just as at-home on my wrist.

Sweet Hamilton.... and happy birthday...
