Sometimes forget about this one; no pushers, no sub-dials, no measuring bezels, not even a date window 🤦 But it does tell the time. What more could I ask?

Just in. A 1950 Wyler with turtle lugs and the Incaflex cal. WG23 on a Forstner Komfit ss bracelet. Wyler patented a nifty flexible balance wheel to provide much greater shock protection. Apparently in various marketing efforts - they dropped watches off both the Eiffel Tower and the 600 foot high Space Needle; demonstrating that they still worked. Me? I’m sure if I dropped it from 5 feet it would stop ticking.

Honestly, I have gotten away from gold tone watches, but for $5 at the antique store, I had to bring this Seiko 7006 automatic home with me. I cleaned it up and put it on what I think is actually a very nicely matched leather strap. I doubt it will stay here for long, but it has kept perfect time for 3 hours and I don't have a maroon-brown dialed watch.....so maybe for longer than I intend. Thanks for looking.
