New to forums and Omega. Figured this would be a good place to make a first post. This is my 1967 145.012 Speedmaster Pro. Just bought it a few weeks ago, made in my birth year. Sadly, I think it has aged better than me:
Excellent first post. Welcome!

Excellent first post. Welcome!
Thank you much for the hospitality. I have read and learned much from this forum already, and I have been pleased and impressed with the civility and lack of drama here.

Almost two weeks straight with the Speedmaster.

Been mostly away from Forum fun on a trip through the Texas hill country, then consumed by civics duties and family financial "fun and frolic."

Sheep dog trials. A first for us. We just fell into it from the highway in Junction, Texas. Both amusing to watch the young dogs and admirable to watch the well trained ones working. Dogs had eight minutes to pen 'em.

I-10 cruisin' with long stretches of 80 mph speed limits.

Born and raised in Texas and lived here all of my life. Never before heard of the Cave Without a Name outside Boerne. Concerts are given.

Well ... it isn't Mad Dog's beloved Dunkin' , but they do serve great coffee. Theme's a bit different, but is popular in these parts.

Today we're enjoying a return engagement of my grandmother's daffodils. One supposes that a micro-climate difference in the yard produced these at the end of February. First performance was a month ago in a protected area by the front porch.

Has anyone ever told you that you resemble the actor Robert Mandan who played Chester Tate on “Soap”? Kinda like our own Mad Dog resembles the action figure Ken of Barbie fame.

With your glasses off, you look more like Ken. But when making that face, you look more like the love child of Ken and that kid from Deliverance with the banjo. I wonder if there are action figures of him.

I wonder if this stylish but elegantly simple watch will satisfy my inner child all day long or will I give way to flashy feelings?
