Thanks for showing the serial numbers to these! Definitely ordering.
There really is no reason this should not get more wrist time. And yet it’s always in that safe...
My first ever serious watch purchase over 33 years ago. Ah first love. And still ticking away....
Welpers...I gave it the old college try sniffer test and it smells like my old Rawlings baseball glove...so I think it's leather.
Thank ye! Now, back on topic ~
New speedy with new kangaroo suede strap
Water proof change.
Sea Dweller 16600
Dynamic Chrono today:
Guinand Series 40.50.03FR with custom satin finish case. Swapped out the original strap for a Hirsch Robbie performance model.
This is no show stopper - but honestly impressed so far for the price point.
How long did it take to receive yours after you placed your order?
I keep putting this thing on. 5 years ago I wouldn’t have worn it for anything. Ten years ago I thought tge 2998 and Daytona and Sub were the only watches I’d keep. Isn’t it odd that after age 50 our tastes continue to evolve? Now the Daytonas (and all the others) gather dust, mostly, while I wear an Orient with cracked crystal, Speidel bracelet, and colored like an old west bordello.
And I should apologize for posting here so often, but I really do change watches constantly. It's pathetic. And could someone explain this "post farming" concept to me? I've seen the term used a few times and was accused of it myself. It seems to be related to posting often for some nefarious purpose. But...what could be a nefarious purpose related to posting in a forum unless you're trying to sell junk bonds or fake watches? Someone was apparently trying to hurt my feelings last week by saying I was "post farming" because I had posted 200 times in less than a month. What agenda might I have? This may be the wrong place to ask, but I didn't want to start a thread.
Another night with the Navi. This time on leather .
To be absolutely honest, I had to put on polarised Raybans to check the time on your watch
Hi OF gang ....Some SpeedyTuesday vibes on @vintage_style_straps
The only point of post farming here, as far as I can see, is to hit the 200 posts required to allow you to sell watches on the forum. I'm pretty sure the rule is to discourage dealers from using the place like a market when the purpose is to build community.
Whether or not you are post farming can only, in my opinion, be established if as soon as you hit 200 posts you start offering watches for sale. Otherwise, I'd say you are an enthusiastic community member.
