Cool beans...I’m really into them as well...they are Omega black coated nylon fabric NATOs in 19mm and 20mm respectively. 👍

LATE ENTRY: The keepers are so sturdy...that an aircraft carrier could be safely moored to them. 👍

Thanks for showing the serial numbers to these! Definitely ordering.

There really is no reason this should not get more wrist time. And yet it’s always in that safe...

Dawg, I’ve been eyeing that strap for awhile to do double duty on either my Speedmaster or Planet Ocean 2500. Question for you - what is it lined with? Hard to tell from photos if it’s leather, vinyl, rubber...
Welpers...I gave it the old college try sniffer test and it smells like my old Rawlings baseball glove...so I think it's leather. 👍

I keep putting this thing on. 5 years ago I wouldn’t have worn it for anything. Ten years ago I thought tge 2998 and Daytona and Sub were the only watches I’d keep. Isn’t it odd that after age 50 our tastes continue to evolve? Now the Daytonas (and all the others) gather dust, mostly, while I wear an Orient with cracked crystal, Speidel bracelet, and colored like an old west bordello.

And I should apologize for posting here so often, but I really do change watches constantly. It's pathetic. And could someone explain this "post farming" concept to me? I've seen the term used a few times and was accused of it myself. It seems to be related to posting often for some nefarious purpose. But...what could be a nefarious purpose related to posting in a forum unless you're trying to sell junk bonds or fake watches? Someone was apparently trying to hurt my feelings last week by saying I was "post farming" because I had posted 200 times in less than a month. What agenda might I have? This may be the wrong place to ask, but I didn't want to start a thread.

To be absolutely honest, I had to put on polarised Raybans to check the time on your watch 😎

The only point of post farming here, as far as I can see, is to hit the 200 posts required to allow you to sell watches on the forum. I'm pretty sure the rule is to discourage dealers from using the place like a market when the purpose is to build community.

Whether or not you are post farming can only, in my opinion, be established if as soon as you hit 200 posts you start offering watches for sale. Otherwise, I'd say you are an enthusiastic community member.

Saved from the dustbin....although Leonidas are better known for their chronographs, this Felsa 690 Bidynator powered Leonidas is a patina lover's dream, IMHO....
Beautiful!
