路Been an age since I have posted due to a combination of the busy time of year for the business and a new project in the making.
Sunday afternoon and home early, time for a nice watch馃榾 Peered into the watchbox for what seemed like eternity trying to decide. Obviously by the blank hole in the box a decision was made.
A no brainer really, although they all have character and should be worn more frequently. Maybe when the new project is complete馃榾
In relation to the new project. I would like to semi retire in the near future and with that in mind we have purchased land on a little island to build a boutique resort and our new house. The plan is to build about seven bungalows and supporting infrastructure with all having a view over the Gulf of Thailand.

Wow! I could give up SOME watches to wake up to that every day. Congratulations on truly living what would usually be a dream. Just being lucky enough to have a spouse who agrees on such a big step is amazing. As they say in Oz, good on ya.
Perfect excuse to show a Hamilton 39108 usmc issued watch with actual Guadalcanal (and more) provenance. The former owner was a friend of the family and fellow horseman who told me a hundred stories about his Pacific service. He鈥檚 been gone for many years. Semper Fidelis, my friend.
