My 90-year-old Longines, today (again). Ten days on the wrist without re-setting it, and it is 5 seconds fast! Is this possible? Yes! Considering it sat in a drawer of project and donor watches for over 40 years. I have only one other watch (non-quartz) that is more accurate. My Rolex Date-Just, cal. 3035.

Gee whiz...I was attempting to do Speedy Tuesday...but one of the spring bars failed during a bracelet to NATO swap...so it鈥檚 off to my local watchmaker to get a new pair of 19mm spring bars...
