Inspired by a post somewhere here ( sorry can’t recall whose) I decided to put the Seamaster on a 1171. I had a spare 1039, but it is worn and a bit flimsy and I was worried about what might happen. Seems to have a suitable vintage vibe, and feels good. Very happy!
