Never posted this. Simple watch, 1940’s bulova. I think it’s worth about a hundred bucks and I had to replace the movement which was 100 bucks. It was my grandfathers. Always meant a lot to me, probably more so than all my other watches. No natural daylight now but you get the point. Always liked the dial as well.
Bought this for parts as not running with no stem chrono not working. Crystal badly scratched. Half the stem was in the movement. After removing it and putting in another, cleaning up the pushers and winding it, all functions work and keeping great time. And the dial is pristine. So I have no choice but to keep it. These old Seikos are VERY robust movements. That's probably not news to many of you.
