Friyay is “It's Friday YAY” It is basically a combination of Friday and YAY!, typically to indicate excitement about said Friday; a portmanteau of “Friday” and “Yay.” As Urban Dictionary states FriYAY: FriYAY. Noun.

Again today, after some fine tuning. Longines cal. 12.92, 15-jewels, circa 1929. Reposed in a drawer for over 50 years, with a movement that was mechanically and aesthetically beyond hope, but a decent white gold filled case, and excellent vitreous enamel dial. I got lucky, and picked another a Longines in distressed case, crummy dial, but very good movement. Performed a transplant. Right off the bench after conditioning, the good movement gained about 20 minutes per day even after badly needed demagnetization. I added numerous timing washers to bring the watch to time. Shown earlier with white lune in the hands, but changed to green lume. Love it!
