1943 Hamilton 992B

Working non-stop (and no adjustment) since January 2018. Off by only 90 seconds.

 

The 992B is really amazing when in good condition, and well adjusted. I have never kept a 992B running for that long, but I did keep one running for three months, a few years ago. Carried, and left stationary, that sucker was only 18 seconds out when I ended the test.

 

Working from home

 

Sent it off for service on 12/20/19 and it returned today. Chronograph hand wasn’t lining up on reset (OCD at its best). All is good now...I didn’t realize how much I’d miss it until it was gone!
