Seiko 6309-729A from 1983. This is the first time this case design was used with an automatic movement and was later continued on the SKX range.

My Speedmaster has been getting almost all the wrist time lately, but today just felt like a BLRO day.

Bought this Quartz movement watch last week and finally got a battery in it today. I don't normally buy Quartz any thing but it just looked so gorgeous and I love it.

With it's curved glass it's almost impossible to get a photo with out reflections in it.

Have been wearing my Speedy about 6 out of every 7 days since Thanksgiving week, and only just now am I two minutes ahead of atomic time. I left it crown up for a couple of days while I wore my Pepsi GMT II and it gained 20 seconds, but otherwise I’m close to 2 sec/day on the wrist.

It’s got my son eager for one, and I’m dropping a “new to him” birth-year Speedy off for routine service next week, to get it ready for his college graduation gift in May.

Saw the Monodatic thread and decided i really ought to wear this more. Any other Monodates out there? Was my dads watch and now 69 years old.

Sticking with my newly acquired Hamilton for today & it’s a great little watch , no fuss or frills .
