I do fall into ruts sometimes.
To break it up, here’s my first Rolex. I had it out earlier this week. 4.1 mil puts it in 1974.
Another 80’s estate auction in a hotel ballroom. That day, there were at least a dozen white faced 70’s Rolexes, some with dates, but nothing special, and this one. I loved that mercury dial at first sight.
I swear I’m really an Omega boy. I’m just on vacation. 😗
oh man after your constant posting of your sub I had to finally dig out and slap on one of ours to see what I might be missing.
ah...was fun but i'm more in the mood to wear one of our seikos for the rest of the day 😀

Okay, okay. Fair enough. It is OF and my fetish is Omega chronographs.
Wearing this 105.001-62 today
It’s only 836 serial numbers later than this one, which has alpha hands.
This was around the time that 105.002-62s went from alpha to baton hands. Both are in really excellent condition, with original bits.
I need to get around to getting extracts. 🙄
