·My (almost) 50-year old Rolex Air King Oyster Date. One owner. I won this in a Rolex sales contest. Had I known what was going to happen to Rolex prices way back then, I would have kept the hang tag. The MSRP back then was $215.00! A close look might give the impression there is lint under the crystal. It’s not lint. The lacquer top coat has begun to peel. I have it set one day ahead, but since November has 30 days, the date will be correct on Sunday. (Oh! That is an after market bracelet. I let our son wear this watch when he was 9 years old. He destroyed the bracelet and nearly destroyed the watch in less than one year.)
