I'm a bit ambivalent about the watch as a whole, but those minute/hour hands have to be the most perfectly balanced and aesthetically pleasing pointers that I have ever seen on a modern watch.

Thanks Jim! These octagonal Defy 600m divers are prized by the Zenithists - there's nothing else quite like them - but your ambivalence is not an uncommon reaction. They were produced in the late 60's to early 70's, but the look is perhaps more "modern."
