This one was shelved for a while, after finding the automatic winding was proving problematic. With my older automatics, before I start wearing them again, I wind them fully, manually. I found with my 55 year old (approx.) Tissot PR 516, it would be stopped after 5 days on the wrist. Checking inside the case back, there was evidence that the rotor had been rubbing slightly. There was little rotor bearing wear evident, and even if there had been, parts for these are all but non-existent. So I put the case back into a 3-jaw chuck on my Emco Compact 5 lathe, and removed the tracing where the rotor had been dragging, to a depth of about 0.30 mm. Three days ago, I manually wound the watch only enough to start it running, and put it on again. Voila! Problem solved. No further winding problems.

Very nice! What brand are they?

X
Hi, I bought them in Clockwork Synergy, I consider that the quality does not compare with the Price, IMHO they are cheap and the quality as far as I can see is very good. 👍

1962 Oyster Perpetual recently serviced. A bit small for my wrist but I like how it looks.

When you've got your MuDu going ... well, you're there.

Not too many places in Texas where a person will find not one, but two MuDus ticking merrily this morning.

Recently picked up an actual MuDu diver off Ebay.

So I bit the bullet on my first Grand Seiko with a Spring Drive...let me just say, that gliding seconds hand is just something else. It's butter.
