Youngest daughter had a fever this morning. Nothing serious but too ill to go to kindergarten. So now she is sleeping in the stroller, while I enjoy a nice pilsner and some sushi while wearing my new DJ, 126234.
A bit of excitement at last.... ... the British Antarctic Survey DHC Twin Otter makes a third pass today. Hard to see its distinctive red colour so here is an article about it https://www.garmin.com/en-US/blog/aviation/british-antarctic-survey-upgrades-twin-otter-g950/ Edit: it's not the Otter but one of the four BAS have. Here's a video of the Red Otters display team 45 years ago I was in a rather crowded shared house in Cambridge with someone who did the research work in the back of whatever aircraft BAS used then. Described as "very boring", but the photos of Antarctica he brought back were fantastic!
Headed to the airport to begin a vacation. Speedy is packed in a watch roll in my carry on, so wearing my PO for Speedy Tuesday.
