I can't count the hours I've wasted in the wife's garden with my camera!
chasin bugs on the flowers... a fine manly passtime!

Very nice Monarch! I used to watch them migrating down the NJ coast -- and all the birds of course.

This guy has been hanging around the pond for a few weeks now. Caught him mating once -- but on the wing which is somewhat tricky to photograph. Oh-err, anisoptera porn now 😉

A festive choice for church this morning and then lunch with my parents to celebrate my mother's 84th birthday today. Just bumming around the house doing chores this evening.

A Glycine 156 movement in its 14kt rose gold case. Neato dial with applied rose gold numerals, and applied rose gold track. Vivid fire blued hands complete the appearance. Have no idea when the watch was produced. Late 1940s perhaps?
