Swapped the shark mesh bracelet from my Planet Ocean onto my Speedy. I think it really works. Makes me realize that I really do like the way a Speedy looks on a bracelet - I just don’t like the modern bracelets with the little polished links. I need to pick myself up a 1171.

Just discovered they make short NATO straps. Always disliked how the extra length had to be wrapped around and could not be hidden from view. But with this shorter one it's not seen. Not sure if there is a name for this one but a guy at a GTG last night gave it to me. Pic from GTG last night. It's in San Diego, CA. A group called sd_chrono. Lots of fun.

Just discovered they make short NATO straps. Always disliked how the extra length had to be wrapped around and could not be hidden from view. But with this shorter one it's not seen. Nice picture. Looks like a good time. Not sure about the Rolex to Omega ratio in the group shot though 😀
