Sick leave for me today-dependant care. All the ladies at the grocery store wanted to say hi, she couldn’t stay awake on the ride home.

This one today. Busy evening of finishing off my kitchen install so it’s been a speedy day. If we can put a man on the moon I figured it would encourage me to use a mitre saw properly.

This guy doesn't get much wrist time anymore, but it's the wife's bday, so time to wind the auto winder.

That’s a shame! You should probably donate it to me and I’ll ensure it enjoys plenty of wrist time! 😗

I loved that Daytona for many years and wore it daily, everywhere. But at some point we drifted apart. It was me, not the watch. We just grew apart.😀 I've had it since new and can't bring myself to part with it. I have the full set, receipt, and even the retailers paper bag. I'm nostalgic. And I should add, since I'm seeing much discussion of SS Rolex scarcity. When I bought that Daytona, 1993, maybe, there were the same waiting lists for stainless. You could get a gold or gold/stainless same day at most dealers. I found a guy who had a waiting list but accepted an extra grand to ignore that list. Even then, with the premium, it was right at 6k usd, I believe.
