Interesting dial hand combo

Yes, not the ordinary handset for a 1163 V cased Viceroy. However this example is a very late serial Autavia Viceroy in the 274,xxx serial range, dating to ~1973, and at the end of -or past the time of- the Viceroy promotion. I believe the H and M hands fitted are the baton style used on the subsequent ref 11630.

I wonder if the hands were changed to the later 11630 baton hands at a service, or this was assembled with those hands during the transition from the 1163 to the 11630, and perhaps fitted at the factory.

Either way, I like the legibility of these hands.
