    It was replaced by this Seiko seiko.jpeg (not my photo, mine is long gone). This one had the busiest dial ever, next to a Navitimer, and I wore it until maybe 91 or 92 when I bought my first Speedmaster (used 145.012-67 for 75 bucks found in classified ads of Tampa Tribune--remember the classified ads?) There was another Seiko in my "collection" that had a white dial, alarm, moon phase, chrono. It was beautiful, and I still have it in a box somewhere. They were all great watches and all kept better time than any Daytona or Speedmaster as long as you changed the batteries when needed. This is making want to scour ebay for the gold Seiko posted here.
    Update: After seeing the 80s Seikos, I am buying one just like the one shown here just to display. Nostalgia.
