It would seem Tudor had a problem with the bezels from that era. Maybe a bad batch. Gives them a lovely look. Here is mine from 1984. Colour of hands and indices not as homogenous as yours
Beautiful! How do you mean? Like the fade of the bezel? Isn’t that common with all aluminum bezels?
Also I noticed it’s common for the cyclops on this model to distort the date when magnified. Not sure why it does that.
It does seem that all aluminum fades, but some of these blue ones have gone pretty quickly. @dougiedude has a snowflake we get to see occasionally, which has beautiful fade and patina. @timjohn has one, which from recollection has very little bezel fade. Cant recall whether that is mercedes or snowflake. Seems that many of the Rolex Subs from the era also have a similar lovely blue-grey. Yours is a gorgeous watch. enjoy it
