Lol! I was able to read the time from the bottom of your steps!! Those phlieger’s were indeed meant to read the time through hazy goggles in a panicky situation

I recently bought a Heuer 2447 from the early 50‘s with Valjoux 72 inside. Unpolished case and original radium lume dial and hands. IMHO a great and historically Important timepiece.
But Heuer seems out of focus these days.

This is my second ref 2179. The first was such a problem child that by the time all the mechanical issues were resolved, I'd had enough and gave it up for adoption.
