Haven’t worn this one in a while - I’m a bit conflicted about it - lovely condition, and a valjoux 72 - but at 36mm I think it’s a tad on the small side...

I love them that size. Purposeful and not trying too hard to catch attention. That watch in 44 would scream look at me!

just arrived off the ‘bay. A 2001 IW3513 Portofino .. Though only 34mm, it wears larger because of the longish lugs and white enamel dial. IMO, about as elegant a dressy can get. Form follows function indeed.

Those numerals are surreal; the way they are raised up off the dial and silhouetted by the patina. Gorgeous!
