That sounds like great advice I shall keep my ears to the ground and see what pops up...I鈥檝e held off from buying a speedmaster vintage or modern at this moment in time no pun intended it would be cool to own one maybe a cool anniversary edition might be the ticket but of course buget is the key factor here and which ever way I go this forum will play a major role in my decision making because of the wealth of knowledge and information that can be found here on this great forum...

'69 was the first year of production for the Mk II.

Almost time for Church today at 1100...as indicated by the 23j Elgin Veritas 376 railroad machine circa 1915 (top) and the 23j Elgin B. W. Raymond 494 railroad machine circa 1933 (bottom)...good thing Church is only a few hundred yards away and the distance is easily sprintable in Bean Boots...
