I'm actually not wearing this... too nasty. I only bought it because it was so very nasty... a Swiss attempt at a cheap watch (20 francs) it was patented in the late 1860s and had a pin escapement and no center wheel... apparently we just don't need that pesky thing, check it out... no staff in the center... WTF! You can hear it ticking all the way across the room, well... clanking actually.

thank you Herr Rosskopf.

I think I'll wind up the Howard now, gotta git me some quality!
How is the accuracy of this watch?
I'm interested in just how simple a watch can be yet maintain a good degree of accuracy.

The watch I bought for my wife a year ago, at a steep discount off of Massdrop. She has worn it everyday since I gave it to her.

And I’m still wearing this. I have tried, twice today, to keep another watch on.

Buuut noooooo! (I’m watching John Belushi right now.)

The Canadian firm T Easton & Co. used the SOLAR name on their house brand watches. Hmmmm! I wonder.

My Dad's Solar, purchased at Eaton's a long time ago. I plan to service it sometime this year. It has a 25 jewel A Schild 1903 movement.

I don't actually use the thing, but I would assume its within a minute or two a day if its in good shape, like any other "dollar" watch.
