The watch that got me started. The reason I spend WAY to many hours on IG looking at watches.

My mom has worn this watch daily for longer than I’ve been alive (>37 years). It was her grandfathers watch. The man I was named after.

Solid 18k. I know it’s a redial but I’d never tell her.

and what I’m wearing today 😀

the barometers agree... it's a shit day outside! (gusts to 120km/hr) good day to stay inside and...

scrub the shower...

so it's nasty chemicals and a Japanese diver day then!

actually... looking at those gauges I see an amazing thing.... French & German in agreement! (I can say it, I've got both in me.... & Swedish... & Metis)

A particular Oyster “Army” ref. 3139. I looked up Stan (Standish) Marsh, the first owner. At that time he was 30, at J. Walter Thompson, the famous advertising firm. He sadly died at 51...

You certainly never fail to impress with your beautiful pieces 👍

Second jumbo of the day, out for dinner this evening. These are so light on the wrist I found myself checking if I dropped it. Used to a Speedy or SM300 during the week.

Gallet for Solar. Trying B&S Strap today on this.

The Canadian firm T Easton & Co. used the SOLAR name on their house brand watches. Hmmmm! I wonder.
