How cool is this retro GUB Spezimatic ??? ....for $210 off the ‘bay. Check out the brushed steel case with the sharp angles. And that ink black dial contrasted against the numerals. The “people’s watch” indeed.

Steel case? Sure looks to me like chrome plated brass.

Steel case? Sure looks to me like chrome plated brass.

Def. you’re right. I did mention the chrome flaking in a separate post. I stand corrected nonetheless.

Amazing isn't it? Another ST1 photo..... ;-)
Just wanted to share this one because the light really worked in my favor: the applied logo is all shiny, the radial dials really show off their grooves and to my surprise even the Omega logo in the hesallite glass made a guest appearance (enlarge the photo).
