160.0065 last of the mohicans circa 1975. It was too early to chance the date advance to risk it

A very nice transformation 👍 how long have you owned it?
Thank you and over 25 years with me being only the second owner from 1985.

Rummaging through the safe this afternoon and decided to pull out this travel alarm from 1944, reckon I could balance it on my wrist if I really tried 😁

Last week it what I recently bought. Now after cleaning Cal 265, some light screw head polishing, hand and marker cleaning (rose), and a new crystal, it is taking me out for vindaloo at lunch time.

Please don't get me wrong and I don't want to be a fun brake... But this dial looks like a redial with something missing at 6 o'clock.

Resist-ance is futile... 48 year old Pogue (well, purists might argue - it's a 6139-6002 not a -6005 but it's near as dammit).

It is an older redial and not my fav but it cleaned up a lot over what it was. Nothing missing at 6. I originally thought so too till watchmaker I bought it from had me loupe it. I thought the dot was a hole and it had missing marker, just way it was reprinted. I'll keep an eye out for another dial or maybe have it done better but I have little in it and it is just for fun now. Hands are fantastic and match the markers. I suspect the later listed jumbo hands may be replaced but I dunno?
