Some coffee and a comfy grab and go for Monday morning, also doubles as a great gym watch.

Plotting tonight's dinner. Vindaloo is my choice to take the bite off the bitter cold and the oncoming storm. I'm scheduled to hit the road tomorrow AM, hopefully ahead of the weather...
Stay warm and keep the shiny side up!

The choice for the last week or two is one that you might choose if you weren’t setting out to impress and amaze anybody else. This survivor might even be called a Frankenwatch by an Omega purist. It was acquired as a basket case. The trashed gold filled case and the original sad dial have been replaced by a better dial, and an Omega steel case. The hour hand is an Omega replacement. The movement is a caliber 351 bumper automatc and I believe the movement is from the early 1950s. All I have done to the movement is to service it, and replace the original mainspring.its main virtue? Dam, does this watch keep time! It rivals most every other modern watch in my collection. (An aside: Truth to tell, the newest watch in my collection is 30 years old.)
