There is something about this watch that just jumps out at me, sucks me in and makes me smile. Maybe it is the fact that I found it in a thrift shop on it's original BoR bracelet, in person. Maybe it is the dial and applied indices. Maybe it is the fact it didn't work when I bought it, but my watchmaker brought it back to life and I probably have more in it than it is actually worth, but I don't care. I just love this watch. McK
1940s Movado Solidograf today. It’s Friday, someone light the “drinking lamp”. Enjoy the weekend, all!
3321.30 Triple Date for a Triple Date - Friday, February First! Sporting a newly-found NOS Hirsch 'Professional' double-ridge strap in deep brown that works as a decent alternative to the nice Omega version.
Just in... sooooo switcharoo time. Thank u Wayne ( Allwoundup for Bulova advice. The 1958 Beau Brommell....
Unfortunately as darkness falls the 'Mondaine' moves in to stealth mode (zilch lume) so on comes the 'Khaki'
Enjoy the weekend everyone. My relatively new Snowflake, I love the bezel, case and bracelet but will be on the hunt for dial and hands
Real beauty! Did that dial fade or did it start out that color? I think I’d call it taupe - like chsrcoal and purple mixed together.
Hmmm, I think I’d re-lume the hands to match the dial lume and you’d have winner winner chicken dinner. This watch looks like one of the Swedish dishwasher specials I always write about...lol It’s very aesthetically pleasing to me (sans hands)
As a new member, I have been messing around with my profile pic so that will be my first watch I am wearing today!
