I can’t believe I am writing this but due to work and environmental conditions I have not worn a nice watch for months (normally it has been my beater Seiko). Today the opportunity arose where I can rectify the situation, a day off, jobs around the house pretty well done, contemplating an afternoon tipple and definitely wearing a nice watch. Was a difficult choice but this is it!

Today my 1970 original (!!) Dugena (!) Marinemaster.
This watch was produced by Fortis.
Think, you all know the franken and fakes of it.
Sometimes (but not very often) you can find a genuine Fortis Marinemaster.
But this is a real rare beast (only saw one other).
It has an additional Dugena stamp engraved on the back and the movement is signed with Dugena instead of Fortis. Love that gem
