The case and fitments are probably sterling silver. The stones are marcasite (pyrite), and calling them semi -precious might be a stretch. The movement in the case could be an A Schild caliber 976 which was reliable, serviceable, and was produced in the millions. The bracelet is woven nylon cord. Bucherer is a large Swiss jewellery retailer and they have a large inventory of nationally advertised watches, as well as house brand watches. The watch is likely of 1950s era, and would have been considered a “fashion” (read as flashy but inexpensive) watch of its day. Might be of considerable sentimental value, but not collectable.
Loving this simple 1960 UG now its on a new strap. This was my beater until recently but reckon its time to start treating it a little better!
